Halcyon is a collection of 100 cinematic ambient patches for Spectrasonics Omnisphere 2. Celebrating the delicate side of film music, this collection is perfectly suited for film, TV and game composition, but would also add an interesting twist to any electronica track.

Inspired by a range of artists such as Brian Eno, Cliff Martinez, Vangelis, Boards of Canada and Jon Hopkins, Halcyon makes heavy use of Omnisphere’s stunning PRO-Verb, it’s outstanding collection of delays, the extensive texture soundsources and the incredible-sounding granular engine. From soft pads and serene textures, to delicate sequences and minimal basses, this patch bank has everything you need to make beautiful ambient soundscapes.

These patches have all been carefully crafted for maximum impact in your cues or productions, and many of the patches use the mod wheel or Omnisphere’s ORB to add rhythmic elements, morph the sound or add extra ambience for maximum movement and flow.

This collection requires Spectrasonics Omnisphere 2 in order to work.
