MODULE 1 – INTRODUCTION
Let’s first get familiar with the scope of this masterclass, get to know your instructor and get a tour of the used analog synths as well as all needed settings in Ableton Live.

MODULE 2 – THE ELEMENTS
Get an extensive tour on the separate Modular Elements we use and the basic functions of each part of the rack – that is also super revealing if you just started out and do not own any of these modules.
You learn about the VCO / VCA, filters, sequencers and effects and of course how to patch them right.

MODULE 3 – THE CONTROL
This section gives you quick recap on what parameters usually need to be controlled, why MIDI is still the standard for most types of communication between different instruments and systems and how CV (control voltage) differs. This gives you a deep understanding of why the new CV TOOLS from Ableton is a game changer.

MODULE 4 & 5 – CONTROL via MIDI or AUDIO
Learn about the different ways of patching and controlling your instruments to trigger events within your analog setup and with Ableton. This is where the magic starts to happen!

MODULE 6 – ABLETON CV-TOOLS
Ready to get serious?
This module makes you familiar with every single Ableton CV TOOL, what they are capable of and how to set them up and use them with your external hardware. Watching this will trigger many points of inspiration, since a lot of what you see was not possible before!

MODULE 7 – THE CLOCK
How do you sync all different systems and instruments – analog and digital?
In this Module you will go through all possible methods and learn how to set up a working clock for your track.

MODULE 8 – THE HEARTBEAT & GROOVES
Drum sounds and grooves are probably the most important element of almost every electronic music production. Composing, sequencing and humanising grooves is therefore a huge part of the process. This section shows you how to utilise the benefits of analog and digital gear to come up with drums like never before.

MODULE 9 – LET’S MAKE MUSIC – PRACTICAL SESSION
The moment you’ve been waiting for. In this session you can follow along as Attila uses all methods and techniques to create music with analog gear in Ableton Live. From Drum Code over Twisted Melodies to cool Techno Loops.

MODULE 10 – RECORDING YOUR SETUP
Congrats, you have got your song! Now in this section you learn everything to record it in Ableton Live. Tricks to troubleshoot delays and latencies, gain staging and how to record multiple tracks at the same time.
