Impact Soundworks has announced an update to its entire Shreddage 3 Series line of virtual guitar and bass guitar instruments.

Free for all current users, the update includes some new features, bug fixes, and realism improvements.

Our finest virtual guitars and basses are powered by a meticulously crafted custom KONTAKT PLAYER engine with full NKS compatibility. Based on over 10 years of experience creating guitar and bass sample libraries, the S3 Engine offers superior realism, easy playability, and great sounds out of the box.

Changes in Shreddage 3 series instruments

All articulations now have individually-adjustable ADSR (see TACT tab).
Added new strumming keys (“Hold for Mute” / “Hold for Choke”), making it easier to change articulations in strumming mode.
Portamento slide articulation volume is more consistent.
Minor improvements to fret & chord selection algorithm.
Various bug fixes including poly input tweaks.
